Experience with networking, show control systems and replay systems. Minimum of 5 years in events and entertainment, experience with digital audio systems, projection, digital lighting systems and theatre rigging. Minimum 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position in an international school setting. Diploma or Degree in Technical Production, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, Audio Visual certifications. Perform other tasks requested by the supervisor that are relevant to the role and scope of work. Set and meet personal goals yearly to maintain and develop technical and digital literacy proficiency and certification. Assist the team in troubleshooting and upgrading support systems as needed. Work collaboratively during the school holidays to collect, conduct inventory, update, and redeploy equipment. Help to research and test out new technologies. Participate in the monthly review and analyse help desk data requests monthly. Coach users to understand and learn about their challenges and avoid “doing it for them”. Provide editing for event archival footage when necessary. Operate lighting, sound, and video equipment. Conduct or attend pre- and post-production meetings to better understand and manage the performances. Working with users on theatre, audio, and visual requirements. Provide collaborative and backup support to the AV support engineer for schools’ activities and events, e.g., auditorium performances, PD days, parent events, workshops, and conferences, including but not limited to:. Work proactively to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA). Promote a culture of safe, responsible, and legal use of technology. Create documentation (help sheets and videos) for our helpdesk knowledge base. Resolve ICT help tickets promptly and document any relevant incidents. 
Deploy, set up, and operate Smart Boards, LEDs, Projectors, and any projection-related hardware.
GEMS WORLD ACADEMY SOFTWARE
Install, uninstall, configure and troubleshoot software and hardware on Mac, iOS devices, and PCs.Provide Tier 1 troubleshooting and support to help resolve users’ ICT, AV and hardware issues.The successful incumbent will be a collaborative partner and a “backup” support to the AV support engineer for school activities and events. The engineer works out of the ICT Office while supporting teachers and staff in their classrooms or offices.
